Hi Welcome.

Glad you are here

First, let us get this right: It's JAZZ-BAAT (pronounced as juzz-baat).  In Urdu, it literally translates to emotions or feelings.

You are probaly here looking for information about Jazzbaat. Maybe out of curiosity about what we do. Maybe you clicked a link, landed by accident or came searching for the storytelling agency that helps founders and families find their voice.

If you came looking for that storytelling agency, you are in the right place. But something shifted along the way. We realized the world does not need another agency "producing content." It needs a bridge back to something we have all lost.

Here is what has happened and is happening:

Our Story Until Now

For years, we called ourselves storytellers.

  • We helped founders pitch their ideas. One of our stories even helped a founder secure 1 crore onShark Tank India
  • We turned family histories into published books.
  • We created content that got people - community, scholarships and investor checks.

But there was always this thread…

In every project. there was a moment. A spark. Something clicked between the story and the person hearing it.

Some projects had it. Most didn't.

And we could not figure out why.

The pattern we kept seeing

  • The work that "performed well" often felt empty
  • The stories that moved people rarely followed the brief
  • Our best work happened when we accidentally tapped into something deeper than strategy

We were solving for the wrong thing.

Jazzbaat’s Realization

We have forgotten how to talk to humans like humans.

Right now

We are not launching a new service.

We are not rebranding Jazzbaar

We are doing something different.

               We are going deep exploring

  • How do we make human heart remains the center of everything we build?
  • Where storytelling lost its pulse?
  • Why some stories create that emotional spark (that jazzbaat) and others do not?
  • Whether emotional resonance can be measured, taught, made repeatable?
  • Does creative processes accidentally kill the very thing they are trying to create?

We are trying to validate a hypotheses to ensure that "creative output" always equals "human connection." We do not have all the answers yet, but we are asking the right questions.

What This Means ?

 The Next Few Months

We are not disappearing into a research lab. We are doing this transparently

Here is the plan

🗣️ Conversations

Deep research interviews with creatives, academics and industry experts about where the disconnect happens. We want to hear the stories behind the stories. Why we cry at movies or trust a brand.

🧪 Market Validation

Testing our hypotheses about emotional measurement, creative validation and audience resonance. Some will work. Most won't. We will share both.

📖 Building

Documenting what we learn, inviting feedback, staying transparent about what works and what crashes and burns.

Who This is For?

The Founder

Who sits in a boardroom and feels like they are wearing a mask, pitching a deck that has "data" but no heartbeat.

The Creative

Who is tired of making things just to feed an algorithm that does not care if the work is good or not.

The Person

Who knows that a story is the only thing we actually leave behind, and wants to make sure theirs is worth remembering.

Anyone

Who feels that the world is now a lonely and overly polished place, where movies, ads, campaigns, and documentaries have lost the power to truly connect and be remembered

The Founder’s Note

If you need creative help right now

While Jazzbaat is in the research phase evolving into its next chapter, our founder, Heli Upadhyay has not stopped  obsessing over the "now."

We get it—you might need help with your pitch, your story, your content strategy today, not six months from now.

She still finds deep joy in helping people navigate their own creative messes. She still takes on creative projects. She loves working one-on-one with people on their storytelling, messaging and creative strategy. It is how she thinks, learns, and honestly, it's what keeps this exploration grounded in real problems.

If you are working on something and need someone who actually gets the emotional side of creative work:

Join The Journey

This won't be clean and that is the point.

Most wait until they have answers before they talk.

We are doing the opposite.

We are inviting you into the messy middle—the research, the failures, the breakthroughs, the 2 AM realizations, the dead ends that teach us something anyway.

Because maybe you have felt this gap too. Maybe you have stories about work that landed and work that did not. Maybe you are exploring similar questions in your own creative practice.

If so, let's figure this out together.

Two ways to join:

1. Share your experience

Tell us about a time your work did not land or when it did and you do not know why.

 Start a conversation

2. Follow on Instagram for daily thoughts on creativity and connection

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions about our startup.

Not anymore. We hit pause on being an agency to figure out why some stories connect and most don't. Right now, we're in research mode for the next six months.

(Our founder Heli still takes on creative projects one-on-one, but Jazzbaat itself? We are exploring, not executing.)

Honestly. We don't know yet.

We're exploring whether emotional resonance can be measured and taught. After few months of research, this might become a tool, a methodology, a framework, or something we have not thought of yet.

Right now, we are testing the hypothesis and framing the problem. Then we will figure out what the solution looks like.

Yes you can reach out to our founder Heli directly.

While Jazzbaat is in research mode, our founder Heli Upadhyay still loves working with people on their creative projects. She takes on storytelling, pitching, messaging and content strategy work one-on-one.
